Plain-language terms for jackboyman.com / JackSoundWorks. Have a lawyer review these for your setup if you sell paid stuff.

1. Scope

These terms cover use of jackboyman.com and what I offer there under JackSoundWorks.

2. Contracting party

The provider named in the Imprint is your contractual partner ("we").

3. Website content

The site has my music, free downloads, browser tools, and community bits like the guest book. I do not promise any specific artistic or commercial outcome.

4. Availability

I try to keep the site up. Maintenance, bugs, or third-party services (hosting, Firebase, etc.) can still cause downtime.

5. User duties

Do not post illegal or abusive content, bypass security, or hammer the site with automated bulk requests without permission.

6. Withdrawal

Consumers may have a statutory right of withdrawal. See the withdrawal policy. For digital content that right can end early if performance starts with your express consent.

7. Liability

We are liable under statute for intent and gross negligence. Otherwise we are liable only for breach of essential contractual duties ("cardinal obligations"), limited to typical foreseeable damage. Liability for slight negligence for loss of data is excluded where the law allows.

8. Changes

These terms may change. Statutory rules apply to ongoing contracts. Repeated use may mean the published new version applies.

9. Final provisions

German law applies, excluding the UN Sales Convention. Mandatory consumer protection at your habitual residence still applies. Venue for consumers: as provided by law.
